This seems very similar in many ways to the Russian Vine or Mile a Minute Plant which is used by some to cover unsightly objects in the garden. You are fast becoming the FS specialist in personification.

Lol - not sure if that is a good thing. Speaking for dogs and plants!
Thank you for reviewing. Always appreciated.

I should keep an eye open for the men in white coats. Lol

Yes, I must stop thinking like a dog or a plant!

This is an excellent story, Wendy, I really enjoyed it. It is well written and has a good flow and a nice easy style. I think I'll apply to become a fan, especially as we Aussies need to stick together!

Yes, I'm quite new, about a month, I think ,but I've become quite obsessive and have done a lot of posting. I find I enjoy thinking up something at short notice when contests are about to close, as well as entering stuff I have written in the past. So thanks for the welcome. Julie

Good work. Nicely written.
Who is to say plants, or lower forms of living creatures like fish or crustaceans, don't have feelings or emotions? Just because we don't speak their language doesn't mean ...
Best wishes.

I actually think they do have feelings. Have you read the book "The secret life of trees"? It's an amazing read, with scientific evidence of communication networks between trees, not in spoken language but in ways that trees understand. They can warn each other of danger based on smells of aggressors and react to protect each other. Quite incredible. Anyway - thank you so much for reviewing! I appreciate it.

Wendy, AKA... Golden Allamanda flowers, how on earth did you come up with this perfect story so quickly? (Insider trading is illegal by the way ð???)
This story is hilarious and fit the club challenge perfectly!
You are a gifted writer!
Cheers to the tendrils of life,
John

Lol. Because it happened to me a couple of years ago! It's only classified as fiction, because we all know that plants don't tell stories!
Thanks so much for your super review, it made me laugh. Cos I don't really have a great imagination. So glad you enjoyed it.
