That wonderful teddy has not concept of time, just the good times that he shared with someone special. Teddy really is a time capsule.
Thank you for the links to teach us more about this art form.

My grown sons took their precious critters with them. They are not prominent in their houses, but they're there. Thank you for sharing this poem with us. I enjoyed reading.

We keep mementos of old days, and every once in a while we think back to them, to think of our much we loved them and continue to love the. Perhaps no one else understands, but we do not worry about it.

The picture was very delightful of the empty room and the dual picture of the teddy bear was priceless, Gypsy. When I read your words it all seemed to come together. Very well done and greatly enjoyed. Blessed Be n Hugs!!!

Another fine poem, Gypsy----and I had a stuffed teddy bear named Goofy that I swear we the winds out of the east at 15 miles an hour I can taste the ear I used to chew on!

Hi Gypsy, your poem is so true. I have two huge teddy bears here in my house for my grandkids--one was won at the Boardwalk. When the kids are not here, they gather dust. I put them in the dryer for 20 mins before they arrive. The older kids no longer play with the bears, but the younger ones still enjoy them. My latest grandbaby is 10 months old. He has yet to have fun with the bears, but soon he'll be climbing over them--they are quite large. Lol.

Your poem reads and flows well and has good sensory appeal.
Well-chosen photo. A pleasure to read. This poem made me smile.
Keep the blue waters flowing. Xo. M

A 20 month old grand child, how fun. Mine is 5 years old and sometimes I miss holding him.

It is sad but our kids do need to grow up. But those precious mementos of childhood are encapsulated in their favorite toys. If only Scotty could tell all the stories he knows!

When my son was little, we went to a cabin one weekend and of course, he took his beloved Scotty. He forgot it when we left and we had to write to the cabin owner and ask him to mail it to us. :)

as always, I really appreciate that you took the time to read and review my poem. Thank you, big sister.

Oh yes, my dear wife has a very old doll, with a beautiful porcelain head with a stuffed cloth torso and limbs, it's been played with by three generations, and duly discarded when the child grew, so I understand, (the doll's still in good condition)
Beautifully written Gypsy, blessings Roy

I am glad the doll's still around and in good condition. I don't know where scotty ended up. I moved a lot and every time I lost something.

Thank you for taking the time to read and review my poem. I appreciate your kindness.
