Wonderful poem! Very deserving of being in its place in the top three poems of the contest. The sunset can show us so many colors that we haven't even named yet.

Sunsets fuel our soul and soothe our mind after a day of stress.
You mention pink hues but I prefer those autumn sunsets...
... those yellow , oranges and reds hues are just breathtaking.

This poem creates a very vivid picture of nature--which you clearly love. My favorite line is:
I look at the sky and say, "Wow, wow, wow." I struggled with giving a 4, and not a 5. In the end I felt that this poem could use an infusion of creativity. The descriptions that you use are true, but "ordinary". I would have enjoyed it more if the observations had been more original. Thanks for giving me the opportunity to participate in your creative process. Zinnia
