I like this short dribble flash fiction. It is quite topical for this day and age - unfortunately. People changing genders. I do wonder what God thinks about all of this. Well done and best of luck in the competition.

Hmm. I guess this is a commentary about trans-children whose parents have allowed them to decide to change their gender surgically. I wish they wouldn't do it until after they are adults and fully passed through puberty. There are many who regret their decisions. A controversial topic well relayed from a child's point of view. The last line here definitely comes as a surprise! The subject is controversial and you have done very well to tackle it in relatively few words! The opening builds up with its lively description of typically boy's activities. This gives 'punch' to the last sentence!

This is a wonderful little flash fiction story. I really identify with it a great deal as a girl growing up on the farm. I only have boy playmates and so therefore a lot of the activities that I did were boy likes things. I still am not real thankful that I have to wear dresses at times and I very seldom wear a dress anymore but I do like to do the things that girls like to do or I did until my vision started to feel me. I am an expert knitter. I love to do painting and other crafts. I wish you the very best in the contest. Patricia.
