The boy has trained his dog well. I love that you found artwork to go with the story or vice versa. It will be hard to deny that dog access to the church.

He's definitely a good Catholic dog. We once had a dog come into our cathedral and he laid down on the chancel steps. No one minded, and he stayed there the entire service. We frequently had bird to fly in the high ceilings. They are God's creatures, and who knows these little creatures didn't know where they were!

This is so funny. What a clever boy. I wonder if the lady had anything to say to that. I'm always amazed by these short pieces, some of which are not only funny but clear and tell a complete story. In this case, did you find the artwork first and write the story or vice versa?

You are welcome. I got quite a laugh out of it and shared it with a friend today. She thought it was hilarious. (She didn't even get to see the picture since I just told her the story!)
