Thank you, my brother. A wonderful message for the season and for change within. Change is only possible through the transforming power of the Holy Spirit. Jesus' sacrifice and finished work on the cross and His resurrection from the dead, bought us redemption and salvation. All we have to do to apply this, is to believe in Him and to and receive His gift of salvation and righteousness.

I read A Doctor at Calvary when I first became a believer, and it described Jesus' suffering from a physician's perspective, and how he was probably under such strain, His blood vessels broke and looked as though he sweat blood. I believe this to be an accurate assessment.

Beautifully written, my friend. Thank you for sharing. May your Easter celebration continue to fill you with His love and presence. Blessings to you and yours.

Sal :)) xo

Jesus did the ultimate sacrifice for us all He asks is for us to believe. This is a wonderful post. Thank you for sharing.

the beloved physcian, repors His bloody sweat, indicating His extreme distress. (physician & reports)

Yet the only way this was possible was to pay our HOLY GOD (comma after 'Yet')

I can't even imagine the agony and suffering Jesus experienced and then to know he did it for me and you. It becomes so personal as we put it in that perspective.
Excellent explanation of the the blood he sweat in the garden before the horrific events that followed.
Thank you for sharing.

Blessings my friend
Janet

Good writing.
repors His bloody sweat, - oops
He was sinless at birth, because born of a virgin by the power of the Holy Spirit. - I believe He remained sinless because He chose not to sin, and sought God's will at every turn.
Best wishes.

Thanks, friend. Jesus was God as well as sinless man. One sin would have disqualified Him from being the perfect sacrifice, as He would then have to die for His own sin, instead of ours.
    God bless you, Dennis

I've read what bleeding through the pores is, medically, and also the described physical death on the Cross, which is the ultimate in horrific death by execution, but the cry on the cross is almost one of surprise. For instance the exact time of His return was hidden from even Him, whatever the cause of His extreme anxiety is understandable. Praise God for Jesus, no act of pure love comes within cooee of this amazing legacy. Bless you bro, well done, blessings Roy

I can't even imagine what kind of stress Jesus must've been under to have sweat. Great drops of blood. I understand bleeding when you get cut Paturi sweat drops of blood because of stress must have been awful for him. I am so grateful that he is, my lord and my savior. And that he went to the cross of Calvary to save me for my sins. Patricia.

It breaks my heart when I think of Jesus sacrificing himself for us sinners, but I am also grateful. You did such a good job, and I enjoyed reading your teaching. Have a blessed Sunday. Shirley

I enjoyed reading this, Deniz, and you've answered a question that had often formed in my mind. When Jesus cried: "My God, my God, why have you forsaken me?" There are many who cry out those same words, when life seems to much to bear. Faith comes easy, but sometimes it is sorely tested. This was excellent, and perfect to start my day on the Lord's day. :)) Sandra xxx

Thank you! I don't know your relationship to the Lord of course, but I hope you have faith in Jesus. That is the door to a new life of getting to know Him and His love ever more deeply. Here's one of His many clear promises given to us as anchors for our faith in the stormy seas of this life:

John 5:24 "Most assuredly, I say to you, he who hears My word and believes in Him who sent Me has everlasting life, and shall not come into judgment, but has passed from death into life". It's well to note possession of eternal life is ours right now as we have trusted Christ who died for our sins! God bless you, Dennis
