This is my favorite chapter of your writing, so far. I liked the fact that the author dropped in to explain petroglyphs. I also like that there is one character, sharing her thoughts and feeling and triumphing over her obstacles. I do not see any room for improvement. Have a blessed day.

Thank you for your appreciative review. It occurred to me as you remark about the triumphing. When I took a children's literature course, we learned good children's lit is when one of the 'weak' characters takes challenges in hand & triumphs. This is good children's lit...thank you for pointing that out.

Some interesting information about petroglyphs which I have to admit I had never heard of! I like the emphasis on Bea's love of co-operation and working as a group. The image of the three crossing the stream is delightful!

The adventures of Bea.... The subject matter of your story and the interesting references to Petroglyphs and carvings in stone as well as charcoal paintings an interesting subject to me more than most. Or thank or ancient is of fascination to myself and speak to things. I like to learn about we here in Canada also have Petroglyphs but in different form.
This chapter you have written in fact a whole book that you have begun. Seems. Like you? Have. Done a? Lot of work with it not only if you have the story. But you also have historical references which must be researched this kind of work I can appreciate.
I can see no issues with sentence structure, punctuation, spelling or subject matter. You look forward to your next submission!

Ancient is of fascination to me too. I actually have many Native American (Wabenaki) stones within my little neighborhood. I've worked them into my books. This is my 3rd Bea book.

This was a fantastic continuation chapter, Liz. I am so glad that Bea was so very surprised about meeting Snakely or Spidie as new friends. She did have slight reluctance but overcame that. Very well done n greatly enjoyed. Blessings n Hugs!!!

I have never seen real petroglyph only pictures of them. Thank you for sharing.
however the larger sizzing sounding voice was motionless. (comma after 'however' & and 'sizing' or 'sizzling')
Her newfound friend blended with or was as we call it, camouflaged, the same color as the grass. (no comma needed after 'camouflaged')
closing with Bea exclaiming how pleased she was meet both of them. (meeting)
Bea stopped in midstep. (mid-step)

This is a very interesting story, and I enjoyed listening to it. I do wish you the very best in all of your writing. I have never seen the Petro gloves I have heard of them. I have seen pictures of them, but I have never personally seen them. I wish you the very best in all of your life. Patricia

I liked your reference to the petroglyph and am impressed that Bea would know about that. I am glad she made friends with Snakeley and Spidie and helped them cross the water while overcoming her own fears and even her negative preconceived notions about snakes!
