This was a very visual poem. Your use of food to describe the love of your life made equate the hunger of actual food to the hunger for this person. Favorite line the in this. Pools of caramel dawn. I won't forget that for a long time. Great poem. Gretchen

There are so many flavors in your love poem from caramel to chocolate and then cinnamon - all strong flavors and delightful. I also love your choice of the Klimt painting!
