Well done on telling your story in exactly 75 words. Your decision to tell the story in purely dialogue was a brilliant one: it does away with superfluous 'he said, she said's and gives you more words for telling the tale. I applaud the opportunity you took to bring the efficiency of the investigators to public attention.

Just for your interest: a strangled prostitute was found in Sydney a few years ago. Newspaper was pushed into her mouth. The Sydney investigators eventually tracked a fingerprint on the paper to a British backpacker, long since returned to the UK. !!

Wow, that is so amazing. Impressive. Yet their family lives are often jeopardized when the forensics and detectives and police become obsessed with a case, and they don't often get sufficient recognition and appreciation when it is finally solved. It's just accepted as a matter of course.

The title really takes you into the story. It presents that first image. Then the dialogue crafts a soul who has put it all on the line to do good. Suddenly, but calmly you are taken to the end, filled with a sense of satisfaction.

I so agree regarding your author notes. Crime has happened too much lately. The story that you wrote sounds like the trial that I just got done watching. If nothing else is said, crime does ruin a family's character.

There should be more depth to this. Yes, you only have 75 words but as is, this is too thin, skips an actual story and though the notes provide context, the actual entry, the post, does not.

Okay. Thanks for your viewpoint. Appreciated. I don't mind if it's not a "proper" story. I think there are many versions of storytelling, and I think the post says sufficiently what I wanted it to.
