This is exciting news. Being able to walk without the walker will open up so many possibilities. Walking is one of those things we take for granted until we cannot do it. And something we truly appreciate once we get it back. I wish you the best of luck when the surgery happens and a quick recovery. May it all be as good as you hope.

Thank you for continuing to share your story. I know the feeling of lungs have to work hard in order to breathe. Having a trust fund in place and good caregivers gives you the security you need. I like your ending with the specifics of what you plan to do after a successful surgery.

September will be here before I know it that is for sure but I have plenty of time to prepare for it with exercises instructed by my physical therapist!
I will keep all of you informed on my progress!

Yes, Helen, David is still in my life and boy howdy he is the best friend I have ever had!
Robin is great as a caregiver too!
