this is cute and proves, to me, at least, that you are no loser. You write with tongue in cheek, to an extent, and I empathize. just reading your list of those who are always on the lists of successful writers, I often feel overlooked and mistreated :) kidding. sort of. sometimes I think those who promote most, thus spending more, are the ones noticed by the higher ups. Sour grapes. forget that.
that really is a funny idea about being scared to enter a contest for losers, in case you might lose, whoever you are. and if that's your signature on the drawing, above, I can't read it.

I stopped entering contests years ago and I am the better for it, though I still may sponsor a contest.
