I agree with you, Gene. This is so well-written and brought back a few moments of that joy. I love the following lines the most:
Through a lens of wonder and awe
ideas march in festive parades,
Just pone thought for correction:
Singing, and dancing without a care, >> no comma needed. :)
It was great! Thank you.
And blessings,
Deb

Hi Eugene, this so reminds me of
when my kids were growing up...I used
to love watching them running and playing...
singing and dancing without a care in the world...
innocent of all the unrest going on in the world...
I love your poem my sweet friend...and love the picture...
very nicely written...Love Linda xxoo

Very well done. Not sure why the selection to elongate the lines helps but whatever keep writing. You have got the knack.
Congratulations!
Now I have to amble trying to meet the rule of one hundred fifty characters.

you have "magical parades"
then a few lines down, you have "magical playground"
maybe look for a synonym for one of the "magical" words?
just a thought ;)
other than that, the word choices were fun, wispy, and light with smooth flow and rhyme
a suggestion i have is maybe try a green background with a blue font OR a blue backgroune with a green font to kinda match up with the fun pic? just a thought ;)
thank you for sharing
shelley :)

I can remember as a child, how proud I was when I learned a new skill, a new way of thinking or anything new. I loved it when I was able to first began to read, and I was an avid reader, most of my life. I do not read as much now as I used to because my vision is failing me but I do continue to try to read. Patricia.
