Gorgeous, Gene!
I love the simplicity and yet profound look at God's creation.
One thought, though, is that you changed rhyme scheme in stanza 3. It felt a little different and pulled my mind from the words to the structure. I'd suggest changing that but am not sure you can and preserve the message of that stanza.
Have you ever considered looking at either Chicken Soup for the Soul or A Cup of Comfort for Christian Women? Or Guideposts, for that matter. Your work would easily fit there.
Just a thought!
Blessings, brother,
Deb

Nature is indeed a many wondrous thing. I can relate to your poem, a lovely tribute. You had so many good lines, and I especially liked:
'Reverence brings my soul back home.'
'Their melodies create a soothing balm,
'Nature's magic, is a gift without compare'
One suggestion to consider: 'On quiet reflection, changes my outlook' is a little awkward. Maybe switch it around? 'On quiet reflection, my outlook changes'.
Time in nature whether a trip to the beach or my backyard always makes me feel better. Thank you for sharing your uplifting poem.

I must say after missing you for quite some time you have all asudden become a prolific author. New gal-pal? Recognized you are getting older?
You are writing some very good stuff, despite what this jackal may comment. Again, this piece here is well describe but the syllabic count fights between eight and nine at times. Tom
but, hey, I ain't no English professor.
