Out of 6 stars, as this is a
6 star poem. A stellar-penned
Christian poem that should
be in a Christian poem anthology. My very best wishes for the contest, and
have a lovely weekend.
Blessings ~

Hey Sweetie, and another virtual six means the world to me. Sorry I am so late with my thank you's ..... My vision is getting worse while I wait for the two eye surgeries in June, so if you could send me any extra information about you, I can get it written ahead of them. Thanks again for the kind review my sweet friend.

I like your spiritual take on the poetry contest and while human relationships can fail, we can be certain that God's love for us is forever and perfect. Best wishes in the contest!

a sweet love poem about one's faith
nice word choices
smooth rhyme and flow

question: why use ALL CAPITALS?
if i may make a suggestion, only use capitals where needed

thank you for sharing and good luck in the contest

Awe, I never use caps unless they are really needed, so I waited for someone to bring that up and I am so glad you did.
It was the only possible way I could keep it a secret till the end that I was talking about Jesus.. I wouldn't think of using His name or talk of Him without it capped. So it was the only thing I could do. .. Does that make sense?
And thank you for asking! I really wanted someone to. Lol

I am so happy that I still had six stars to award for such a beautiful and moving work of art. Yes, I said work of art. This poem is so well constructed, so awesomely stated and directed, it hits the heart of those who know and understand. Sadly, those who do not know or understand, will miss the target by miles, confused by the intent of the message so clearly stated. Awesome!

Nomi, you are just about, if not the sweetest man in the whole world. And it may be the loveliest review and comments that I have ever received. I thank you from the bottom of my heart. Then honoring me with your six stars, combining the review and lovely words makes this three in one package deal pretty darn sweet. Kinda like the Holy Trio! : ). Hugs to you dear brother!

Such a lovely poem with a great surprise ending. We were loved by God when we were in the womb, loved now, and loved eternally in heaven. I am way old and have known all my life of His love.

This is a beautiful contest entry filled with sincerity and
love, Mystery Author. The image and color scheme frame
your words perfectly. The rhyme scheme was well done
and an added bonus However, it was your word choices
that set this above everything else. The fact you were
unsure for a long time, then found your faith was well
expressed. Even then, you realized it was something you
would have to work at every day. I loved the line about
never going back or anywhere for that matter alone.
Thank you for sharing and best wishes in the contest, Jan

This was a beautiful poem about a great love that you have that has sometimes been in doubt (by you.) It sounds like you came to it later in life after years without it, and still wonder now and then why you are the object of His love. It was so well written with beautiful rhyme and meter and a surprise ending as you reveal the source of your love. Well done! Jim
