A very sweet love poem. It flows smoothly and I especially like the
rhyming. I think every girl is looking for that suave, debonair type. So,
I think this poem is very relevant.

You're welcome.

What a delightful poem. I think I prefer this to a heavily weighted love poem.
It is done with humor and sweetness. I enjoyed reading.
Best wishes,
Mary

Thanks, Mary. Yes, those heavily weighted love poems are too much to carry around.

I liked your poem about using flowers to determine if love is true. It's sweet and kind of naive, which is a pure kind of love. Thank you for sharing, and best wishes to you.

Thanks, Jessi. The daisy method always works.

A fun and humorous finish to an excellent poem. The rhyming and meter was consistently good throughout. I enjoyed the internal debate taking place in the head of the "blushing bride."

Thanks, Charles. When it comes to picking husbands, you can't beat the daisy method.

This lovely poem should serve as a learning tool to all would be writers. A poem does not always have to deep, or probing, or sophisticated to be pleasingly effective. This simply stated work is so pleasing that it brought an immediate smile to my face and pleased me so much, I felt a slight tinge of jealousy. LOL. Great job.

Thanks, Nolan. I am a pretty simple man. If I get too deep, let me know.

The poem was great in its simplicity. Beautifully written and presented.

What a lovely, humorous approach to the whole notion of finding a lover - guess many there are on the planet who do testify to the success of these methods!

Thanks, Gretchen. I finally found someone who agrees with me that this is a tried and true method.

A nice image presentation. No notes or syllable count. The man/woman you find will appreciate how you feel after you picking that daisy. He loves me, He loves me not.

-Very nice artwork and presentation, Paul.
-You wrote a good poem with effective imagery and rhyme.
-It flows well from verse to verse.
-You do a good job describing how you decide
if your true love is actually the one by
choosing a daisy in the field~
"Tis then I'll find what is my lot."
-I remember doing this way back in the day!!
-I saw in the replies that you got second place; congratulations;
it is well deserved.

How well I remember as a child, picking daisies and pulling the petals one by one. The chance was always 50-50 that we would get one answer or the other. Your poem is very well done, and enjoyable to read.
