You did a good job expressing your thoughts and
feelings about AI, Jesse. It is a topic many are
uninformed about. Many new 'things' have come from
AI, but it does seem to be not monitored in any way.
Some of the scientific things are beneficial to a point.
However, there are many unknowns with a lot of the
other things.

I must admit, it's having little affect on me personally. Although my son in law, sent me a poem written by this AI programme, it was very good...technically, but lacked that dimension of invention, meanwhile. I'm not feeling threatened at the moment, well done, blessings Roy

Although I'm no expert on AI I felt a whole " mic drop" vibe when it was finished. Kind of like I had been served, the way it is in a rap off or dance off. The ability to do that is fascinating.

AI is a terrifying thing. And it is getting harder and harder to tell what is real and what is simulated. I expect it to be used against us. As the people of the world get dumber, the people controlling us get smarter. Very scary stuff. You may have neighbors in this remote far away place. I might be one of them. Gretchen

That's a sobering observation, Jesse! But your conclusion is the right one. We are the problem either with or without AI. We need to learn how to be kind and caring for our neighbors so that whether we are on the outskirts of civilization or connected only by AI-listening technology, we can still feed our spirits. Thanks for sharing.

Yes this is the issue of our times and days -it is almost as if we don't know quite which way to go on this one. 'Uncomfortable' is exactly how we feel whether we care to admit it or not- it's here and we have to deal with our manmade monster!! Wishing you well.
