Sunny will definitely be grieved, Jesse. As she was expected to be. So she will be grieved in the way she deserve to be. She definitely deserve to be. I personally expect that you will get a senior or an adult cat not a kitten as soon as possible. The longer time it takes for you to replace a cat the harder it will be. Blessings in her passing. My prayers are with you.

your beloved Sunny. You have to remember the
time she lived with you, she had all the love and
care you could, and did, give her. I hope you do
get another kitty as there are so many needing

I know exactly what you're going through. Over my long years, I've several devoted pets, cats and dogs. There is nothing like the love of an animal, and I feel sorry for people who never experience. Even when losing them, we know know they had a good life with us, and they gave their all back. When we can cross that rainbow bridge, we'll see them again. I'm hoping to live as long as my pets do, even though it will be hard see them passing. Focus on the good memories. I know you many.

Sunny was clearly greatly loved and very much a part of your life for 15 years, an incredibly long period and testament to the love and care she received. Thank you, Debbie, for your heart-rendering review. You have nailed it as far as how I feel on this second day after Sunny passed away.
I promise I will find a new companion kitty once I am over the grief and separation.

I all too well know the grief you are experiencing, for I felt the same way about our Dickens. Every time I am outside gardening, I look for him - sunning himself in a patch of violets... or always by my side...
Time may heal your grief, Jesse, but you are surely entitled to your grief.
I love the fact that, when you are ready, you may consider adopting an older cat for a companion. That is a marvelous idea.

Thanks for your compassionate review. You have made me aware of the fact that you have lost your Dickens as I have lost Sunny and we both know the feeling of grief and loss of our beloved pets.
