Yes, the journey of our life does seem to twirl extremely fast and the older I get the fast it moves. It doesn't seem fair. LOL I enjoyed reading this club entry and thank you for sharing it with us.

Love the title and theme with its overtone of serenity in a life well lived. Good imagery, flow, form and phonic resonance, especially the combined sussuration of S and soft C sounds in counterpoint with consonance T and L plus alliterated P.

Namaskaram, dear Sanku. NO, I've been in USA ever since just before the pandemic, and I've here now, taking care of my 88-year-old mom, editing, ghostwriting and pet sitting. Hope all is well with you.

I don't know if i told you My mother passed away on 12th Dec2021.She didn't suffer much was totally bed ridden and was on oxygen for about 3 weeks .She passed away in her sleep

RIP mom...and deepest condolences to you, my friend. It's very fortunate to pass away peacefully in sleep. She must have some good karma. Glad she didn't suffer much. I am taking care of my 88-year-old mom. We had to go to ER yesterday but she's okay now.

to reach the twilight of my life - eight syllables.
Easy fix:

or

Actually, by reading this a few times, it makes a lot of sense, and yet, dont expect that wheel to slow for with fewer days remaining, regardless of how many, they'll speed by like a hippity-hopped rabbit fleeing for its life.

A very interesting write.
I found a lot of sadness in it.
To me it was telling a story of - before you know it, the year's have gone and accept what ever is thrown at you and just get on with life
