Hi Debi,
A Merry~Go~Rhyme... never heard of it before. But you did a great job with it, showing the special bond that exists between you and your beautiful granddaughter, Kenzie-Jo. Is "Kenzie" short for "McKenzie"? ...just wondering~
You must have written this one the week before you went to that log cabin at Leech Lake, eh?
"I love that next week we'll explore
When we're on the lakeshore"

My favorite lines,
"So many changes in your life, that I cannot ignore
And as I watched you grow and grow, I loved you more and more"

She really is talented. I see that you've used many of her works of art. She should sell some on FanArtReview... does she know about that avenue?

Nicely penned!
Hugs,
Kimbob

You are an incredible Kimbob! A Merry~go~Rhyme derives from Sally's Circus Poems. I did a couple of her Circus ones and my Spectacular Owl turned out amazing. But my style is all about rhyming. So we actually do them side by side on the subject a few times, as they are fun to see how much difference from one style to another.

Wow, I can't believe you are reading my work. I am sure there are a lot of old ones that need some cleaning up. I started sorting them into books to maybe do a book on Amazon. But I have no idea how to do it. And I made a big mess when I started putting them into categories.

This one means a lot to me, because she is so special. However, she is in an apprenticeship at a reputable tatto place. So you might absolutely love her art that I can't use. I use what I can but there is a skull head as the top of an old fashion land line and I named that wrong number.

But she has some cool ones I could us for Halloween, but they aren't my style otherwise. So I use what I can out of her portfolio. I share with her all the time the comments and she feels she knows some of the people here. But no she wasn't interested in Fanart review, but I did offer.

If you are not a fan of our democrat party, you would really love the satire of Wizard of US. And if you are a fan of them, not so much. My Christian background has so many ill feelings of so many of God's laws that were changed under them, and so much more. But either way, you would probably see the humor of Nancy Pelosi as the wicked witch and speaking from the bottom of the house. (After Dorothy drops it on her)
Anyway, yes Kenzie is short for McKenzie. She is now twenty and is the oldest of my grandkids.
Thank you again Kimbob, as you are an amazing and very special man!!

Wow! She's beautiful! Is she a member of FanStory or FanArt?
You're always very kind and it's obvious in all your poems that you love your family very, very much.
Thanks so much for sharing.

Hi Heather, no Kenzie is not part of FS in anyway. She is selling her art online and also she is doing an internship as a tattoo artist. It is something she has always wanted to do, and I might say, a pretty classy one. I am proud tho, as you can see. Thanks again, my dear friend.

Last year I got a beautiful tattoo on my arm (two daffodils). I sent the tattoo artist some samples, but when I arrived at the parlour he showed me his own version and it was much, much better.

Debi,
This is a very beautiful rhyming poem about a granddaughter for which you have tremendous love and respect.
Her photo is beautiful, as are the accompanying words.
Good luck with this sweet ode to your granddaughter.
Blessings,
Cindy

I'm sure Kenzie will cherish this poem for years to come. The merry-go-round form makes for a fun read. Your topic is also fun. Kenzie sounds like an amazing young lady. You have to be proud.

It's great to see the love that it's so evident you two have for each other. Kenzie Jo is certainly a fine-looking young woman; it must be in the genes. Blessed with beauty and talent too, it just doesn't seem fair.

I like this form you've created, and you've given us a delightful example. Thanks for sharing, Debi :)

Hey Craig, way to throw in a compliment and put a smile on my face, just when I needed it most. Thank you so much and this review I will show McKenzie when we are on the lakeshore next week. My husband and I rented places for our entire family so we are looking forward to a week of fishing and boating on Minnesota's biggest lake. (I loved that lakeshore worked in so nicely with the word more) So thanks again my awesome friend!!

I am not familiar with the format, so your notes are wonderful too! Thank you!

The queen of birthday poems is at it again. Nicely done, Debi. Grandchildren are great. I've written a couple of poems about mine, but I've got to get on the ball and write a few more.

A beautiful girl with a beautiful talent.
A deeply personal love poem to your granddaughter Kenzie to tell her how proud you are of her and will always no matter what will always have her grandmother close by.
I enjoyed reading.
Best wishes,
Mary

This is a brilliantly written Merry~go~Rhyme for your Granddaughter, Kenzie Jo. You've penned another masterpiece. The simplicity and truth in your words are exceptional. Every line is inspired and is a gift to the reader. The rhyming is excellent and flows smoothly from one stanza to the next.

All the best,

Eugene, how wonderfully thoughtful of you. I appreciate your lovely review more than I can possibly tell you. Thank you with all my heart, and also for this six stars. Your kindness has helped a little bit of the sadness from Jan's passing. Thanks again, dear friend.
