Hi Debra,
I guess we all like to feel better, whether it's a good laugh or a belly rub. I bet Molly loves this.
Your 5-7-5 poem is a nice entry for the Cats and Dogs contest.
You've got some nice alliteration going on there with,
"tickle my tummy"
and "b" words,
"belly up -we'll both feel better"
Nicely penned!
I hope you're having a great vacation in Scotland!
Hugs,
Kimbob

Hi Kimbob,

I love this, Debra. I agree there is nothing like giving a dog a belly rub to feel relaxed and calm.
Molly seems to know her job and does it well.
Great photo to compliment and introduce Molly.
Good luck in the contest.
Best regards,
Mary

I couldn't resist this poem of yours. My dogs take this same position every chance they get and you said it all in a few words. It really is pet therapy to just relax with them. I write many emotional support animal letters for people so I appreciate your thought here.

Oh, now this one I absolutely LOVE!! Because it's so true: nothing makes humans feel better than rubbing a dog's belly and bringing him joy. You are going straight to the winner's circle with this one, Mrs. Doolittle!!! SOO extremely cute and perfect!!! xoxo

I'll fly Max over and you might change your mind. I think he increases my cortisol levels even though I love him deeply.
Have I told you he's eaten three books in the past week?
Well, at least, he's quiet at night, unlike your neighbour's visitor.
Lovely poem and picture. Molly looks as cute as usual.
I like how you play with the expression belly up.
Sorry, no sixers left.xxx

Hi Maria :)
Max is going to be very well educated if he keeps snacking on books!
Thanks for your lovely feedback.

This reminds me of when my sister (speaking for the dog) used to say, "Pet me; you'll feel better." Your poem was cute and met the syllable requirement. Thanks for sharing, and best wishes to you.

That is the best kind of therapy. Isn't amazing how just rubbing the tummy of a dog can be so relaxing and allow the troubles of the day to melts away? They seems to love it, too.
Best of luck in the contest.

Aww, Molly is waiting - belly up - to erase the stress of your day. What would we do without our babies - they are essential to our health and happiness.
Good luck to you and Molly in this contest. You have a clever play on words here.

Aww!! Who can resist in giving Molly a belly rub. I can't understand why cats abhor getting their belly rubbed but dogs love it. Anyway, I love that the act of giving results in joy for both the giver and recipient. Best wishes in the contest!
