This will give the reader cause to pause. I'd say Unchained Melody by Elvis. Then we could have the tragic on, "Teen Angel" "Leader of the Pack" What fun! Fascinating facts.

Have ever watched Blue Hawaii? I was enthralled with that when I was in high school

Loved it. Saw many or most of his films.

We had the best music ever. I think we must be around the same music generation but maybe you are younger. What about Roy Orbison? Another magnificent voice!

I'm 76. I have to put tjhe word (trombones) after the number so I can remember the #. Anything not ending in a 0 or 5 get confusing. Next year it will be 77 Sunset Strip. Music has always been my calming place with my little pile of 45's

Lol. I'm 72. (How will I remember when I turn 73?)
It's funny. A few years ago I would have thought that being 72 was so OLD. Now nothing under 80 is anywhere near old.

I have a funny story regarding that there was a woman who maybe was in her 70s and some young fellows broke into her house tied her up and took some of her stuff she after they left she went untied called the police and they picked the boys up with and maybe about 3 hours I looked at her and I thought that poor old lady. I was 73! Actually it was 72 & 73 I was always mixing up. When I was 73 I said I was 73. For 74 I sang the Beatles' song 64 & changed it to 74. This has been fun.

Wow. Now if only humans could be so devoted to each other. Some are, but it seems monogamy is not as common as it was a couple generations ago.
It is intriguing that each couple creates and maintains their song. What a beautiful way to communicate and express their bond.

This is very interesting. You hooked me with favorite love songs. When Leon and I were in college and dating, we chose "Till" as our song. Such a silly song filled with hyperbole- Till the sun refuses to shine-How silly! I love how the apes sing love songs together!

That actually was very interesting. I can imagine if the population is high in one area the noise level must be incredible. Hopefully, it's melodious. We have bullfrogs where I live and they can be incredibly noisy when mating. Lol. Great piece. Gretchen . P. S. Precious and Few is my favorite.

Great choice of song. Beautiful. Thanks so much for reviewing. It probably is noisy as the females can be loud. But they all can pick their own song. Must be fascinating for the researchers.

I did not know that Gibbons sing to their partners Wendy, I know birds do and I learned something today, I love the photograph too. You always bring something different with your writing and it is always a pleasure to read, love Dolly x

This is the most interesting article you have written about the Gibbons. There are many creatures in nature who are monogamous suggested get a job. I know that the Beaver is also monogamous. This one is a monogamous, and there are others that I could mention there are others in the bird family, who is also on anonymous. Patricia

Thank you very much Patricia. Yes, most birds are monogamous, not so many mammals. I appreciate your review.

Great construction to your piece, starting with a reference to our own love songs and transitioning to primates after our buy-in. I would be interested to know whether the 'songs' change.
Best wishes.

and you had the chance in the wild or while at the zoo of listening to a pair of gibbons swoon each other under, I must ask, a Gibbous moon? Got ya. Have a blessed day.
