Oh I'm so sorry. I konw I've had pets escape before and I know exactly how your feel. There was only one that I didn't get back and they was a fairly new that hadn't learned to call this place home. I hope you get him back. I do love the stories where you're have a conversation with your alter-ego. That is so clever.

Thank you so much Beth, unfortunately I got him back just for one day... now he is in kitty heaven.

Ah the pitfalls of escapism. When you get confronted with lack of responsibility, the first instinct is to blame someone else, like witchcraft or the aliens, and then to dowse the emotions in alcohol. We've all been there. As always told with wit and self deprecating humor. These conversations with yourself is a great form to demonstrate perspective in considering your actions estory

Thank you so much and unfortunately my actions had killed a beautiful kitty.

I do understand. I had a Great Pyrenees that whenever the greyhounds two houses down came into heat, they were breeding them, he would jump a six-foot fence to help them breed. It got so bad the dog catchers would just bring him home and not charge me. No veterinarian would neuter him because he tested positive for heart worm. He was a stray before we took him in. I hope kitty safely comes home.

Sorry to hear about your kitty. Some cats are too independent to stay with one family. Don't blame yourself. Our cat left her family and demanded we take her in. Another of that family's cats went down the street and found another cat mommy. Cats are that way. Hope your kitty is safe!

😔 I'm so sad for you. But I know there was a reason for all that. Your big heart could fill him with love for the time you had with him.

Thank you so much, my dear friend who always watch over us
