Oh, I came late into this. I am so behind as it is. But I want to catch up as best as I can. I like it and I agree. Technology is great up to a point. Ulla:)))

Telling people to go back to nature is one thing but having them actually do it is another. I think the genie is out of the bottle. I don't believe my microwave is watching me but I know my telephone conversation may be public and I'm sure everything on the computer is. So far as long as I don't get on anyone's radar, I have nothing to hide.

My computer is watching me. My computer says "read Estory's poem". the computer wants to know what I'm reding. The computer reports to another computer. Then the computer says, "Six stars". I tell him I only have five. The computer allows me to make tht transaction, then goes bye-bye.

Sounds like a scyfy movie similar to 1984 i like the mysterious style. We are all being watched and every thing we write onl I ne is used against us. Our personal inform is not private anymore.

Excellent thought provoking poem.

Yes, these machines do track up. When I get in my car, my phone will tell me what the traffic is doing where I'm going, and I didn't ask it to. It knows my routines each day. It's scary. Thank you for sharing.

Thanks for the excellent review and your perspective on the piece. I love when I search for insurers online and then get bombed with ads from auto insurance companies on my facebook page or browser. estory

Yes, a nicely sinister tone to this. Well done. A tribute to Google and all the cyber-spies in our world. Thanks for sharing this. It is a successful piece.

Exceptional
This work has reached the exceptional level

You accomplished all you needed to. It harkened to both "1984" and today at the same time. Everything we do is watched and monitored. It is no longer science fiction. A really lovely piece of work. And I reread it after reading your comments. And, I did feel the mechanization of the pattern of the writing. Wonderful.

Interesting style and pattern. I enjoyed your piece of work because it is not really fiction is it. The machines are already studying our purchases and interests.

Perhaps one day we will all serve AI. Eeesh.

Thanks for the excellent review and your perspective on the piece. Glad I got people thinking. I wish people would realize that just because these companies come up with something that can make them money or save them money, doesn't mean it's good for society as a whole. We were not made to interact with machines. estory

This is a poignant poem as we are indeed controlled by machines these days. My daughter asks a machine to turn the lights on and switch the radio on! I refuse to have such a machine in my house although I do have a mobile phone. A fine write, love Dolly x

The perspective you put in your short poem is so scary. I don't think I want to become part of the machine. "The machine listens to my telephone conversations.
My telephone conversations are all compiled
In reports the machine makes to another machine
Analyzing data"
