Lisa,
I laughed out loud at your stacked limerick.
It was sweet and humorous.
Your syllable count is perfect.
Good luck , Lisa.
Blessings,
Cindy

I must admit this is one of the best "stacked limericks" I've seen, the theme is brilliant, although originally bawdy in nature, this was the next best thing, brilliantly dine jennty, good luck, blessings Roy.

I always like your Limerick and this one is no exception. I like the humor. It's hard for me to write one and I wrote a few in the past.

Did you get the artwork first and then wrote the poem or vice versa?

Well done.

I knew that you would just have to enter this contest, Lisa May. I also know that surely you will win. Limericks flow from your pen like curse words from the cow. You know how to weave a story, rhyme, and be a little bit naughty.
Good job, you naughty girl.

Oh Moo! I am not sure what this brand of humour is call, or even if it has a fancy Greek or Latin name. It ought to. It develops an expectation in the minds of the audience or readers and then cleverly avoids what we all thought was inevitable. I did it once with a song about a lobster.

Very clever, that's exactly where my mind went. You showed a lot of restraint on that one. A six in my book and should do very well in the contest.

The first thing that came to mind was the swear word, but you brilliantly, and I might add, hilariously cleansed my mind of such a thought.
I am not a poet by any means, but I would "But it was an angry cow that used the word other than bucket."
"and it cursed " seems to stop the momentum.
Regardless this was funny and I enjoyed reading.
Best wishes,
Mary

Just because it is a limerick doesn't mean you have to use bad words, and you have proved that very much with your writing. I wish you the very best in the contest. Patricia.

This is great fun! You've composed a skilfully stacked limerick consisting of two parts: i) the milk maid's composure and refusal to be dragged into an expletive for the sake of the verse; ii) the cow's much more uncouth reaction to her manners. When I look back at the image, you've portrayed both characters spot-on and made me smile! Well done and good luck! Debbie
