I found your poem the closest to what I would have written ( I missed the deadline).
God gave us this beautiful planet to live on. The fauna and flora provide us with all we need to thrive well.
We are surrounded by much beauty which delights our senses. The sun that rises and sets each day, the moon and stars at night, the 4 seasons, vibrant flowers, verdant valleys, snow-capped mountains etc.

Nice and sweet. The picture is a wonderful companion piece. A lot of the time folks just put up any old thing and call it a day. Your writing was smooth and fluid. You told your story in a different way, and I found it works. Good effort all around. Karen

This is my favorite style of poetry. It is more like the old-fashioned rhyming poems that I learned in grade school. It should do well in the contest. Best of luck.
