I am so very sorry for your loss. Sometimes life just sucks.
Your poem is wonderful. "I thought of you..." (repeated) works beautifully as a poetic device, and the sentiment is there with every word, fairly leaping off the screen.

It is had to lose a loved one and it seem especially tragic that one who died at young age. Nine year have passed but you still grieve. I'm sure she is greatily missed by all of her family. She was a beautiful girl I can see from the picture. After a faith in God, makes a lot of sad thing easier to bear,knowing there will come a day when you are reunited with those you love.

It is had to lose a loved one and it seem especially tragic that one who died at young age. Nine year have passed but you still grieve. I'm sure she is greatily missed by all of her family. What a blessing our faith is when we lose someone we love. The reader must feel your sadness but rejoice in your faith. It takes the anniversary of passing to make it worse, yet little memories make us smile. Amber must have loved you very much. What times you will share eventually! God bless you.

Oh this is really heart wrenching. It makes it so much more emotional when you know that someone is writing from their heart that is leaking. At age 19, I'm sure she was the most beautiful precious Angel. I feel she was given the "job," of watching over children that enter Heaven. With her sweetness ang good humor that you describe, I feel she is eternally a comfort to God's Children who are seny back to Heaven at very young ages. Beautiful and genuine writing, from a loving grandma!

I am so sorry for your loss, my friend (blind competition). I can only imagine what you are feeling, having her for 19 years. We lost our first born 45 minutes after birth on 3/14/81.
We've been blessed with three children and five grandkids.
I felt your emotions in every word of your poem and also felt the smiles coming from your previous angel!

How beautiful she was, and how sad a post! I just finished a romance tale I'm posting tomorrow with a character very unlike me. Prior to reding this, the thought of romance brought tears to my eyes as I thought of my wife, now in Heaven. We have Hope above all others that we will see our loved ones in Heaven again!
