Excellent little ode and you have bravely put it into free verse. Occasionally it is a little 'conversational' and maybe needs to be pared back a little more, but the content is something with which we can all empathise. Well done and good luck.

This is a lovely ode to a pen in verse which I enjoyed reading! The pen has been so instrumental in everything you've done in the past and will obviously stand you in good stead in the future. There are a couple of small edits: opp(o)rtunities ; and did you mean: it (paid) me to improve my craft? Well done! Good luck in the contest! Debbie
