This is an exquisite poem...georgeous images...I especially like the last line where you refer to your own seasons...very nicely ties the poem together comparing the seasons to your moods. Beautiful work.

There are so many high points, it's hard to unpack them all.
The love you have for your faith comes shining through every word.
Your appreciation for quiet moments of reflection is refreshing. I say that because not many people take time to smell the roses or take time for self care.

The rhymes work well without force and flow naturally from line to line.

I have FAITH you pulled it off well...
(In keeping with the contest theme)
In any meter your expression of the beauty surrounding you is lush with rich imagery and pulls me in...

OK, I have to look up this amphibrach meter. I'm guessing it's to do with the alternate feminine/masculine line ends, though what else I'll have to find out. I have never read a poem before that reminded me so much of Henry Kendall's beautiful "Bellbirds", although his poem contains only soft endings. If you get a chance, look it up. I'd be interested to know if you see a similarity. For me there is, not only in the tone and rhythm, but in the appreciation of the beauties of nature.
This is one faith poem that really resonates with this faithless chappy. I hope to see you up on the podium when the time comes.

your breath away...
