A lovely poem for children about friendship, and about hopes and saspirations, as well as dreams and imagination. Cleverly written with smooth rhyme, and nicely flowing metre.

Thank you Yvonne. I have studied Lewis Carroll's life and work since I was a student in Oxford - so this is a lovely 'homage' to his original pair. I do hope though, that no oysters appear (briefly) in this story!
Children will love these verses - partly because they are nonsense in the best tradition of the term. iambic 4-3, abab, as the original - faultless meter and rhyme. Here and there maybe alternative words - 'take' luncheon on the moon? But that's a matter of taste - I have no improvements to suggest.
I should have been proud of this one myself. Thank you for such a lovely, entertaining poem.

Exceptions are made for long works "I really don't belong here anymore" is almost 9000 words and I gave 8 reads for it. I wrote that when I first got here and didn't know people only wanted things in bite-size chunks. I am learning a lot about poetry here. you do amazingly good work.
