I KNOW the exact feeling you have shared. I lost my first husband as we planned our 40th anniversary and walked a path together. He had not be ill and it was totally unexpected as he fell over and died very quickly. I felt that replacement hug from him as he passed from this life to the next. I lost my second husband to Covid after 14 years of marriage. Again, it is as if he remains just out of touching sight. The three of us continue to enjoy a combined relationship of love.
Thanks for writing this wonderful poem and for reminding me of how blessed life can be -- even in the low points. ann

Beautifully written poem of the departed love one, possibly your husband since you speak of oneness, and created by Love Himself, or God, the essence of all love. I hope I interrupted this correctly.
As s Christian, and a happily married woman, I have the hope of love and life eternally.
Sending you my best today as always, and blessings for your writing endeavors.

I appreciated the depth of faith expressed in this poem. I noticed the gentleness throughout. There was a lovely rhythm, reminiscent of a soft heartbeat.
