Holy moly, Lea!! This chapter is random for me, but damn! It was captivating and riveting. If your past chapters are as well-written and suspenseful as this one, you are well on your way to a book deal for sure.

I admire your courage and bravery to share your real life story. You have described some things I never have, and never will live through. I experienced two hurricanes and was terrified by the loud noises of the wind destroying buildings and trees. And I wan inside of a building. I can't imagine surviving your experience. Again, I say, this is great storytelling.

Hello Lea,
what a terrible, terrifying night you had to endure. While I was reading about the wind, I was remembering a few of my own wind blown nights out on the anchor while the boat was tossed about, praying for daylight and an end to the violent winds that buffeted me. The woods can be such a noisy place when the wind is blowing, and having a storm turns an already dark place even darker. A tent isn't much protection against a giant cedar. I'm glad you were spared gal. Thanks for sharing this harrowing tale.
