What a life of travel and immersive culture! Even the very well-travelled have often not seen Tokyo. I'll bet you were very glad you elected to accompany your husband. This sounds like a very special time.

This was a lovely travelogue. I haven't seen your name before. I always wanted to go to New Zealand but my body does not travel well. Is it as green as it appears on the "Acorn" channel? I am a native Texan and we have some pretty good-looking parts here. I fanned you so I can get your writing delivered straight to my box. I visited Japan back in 2019 for the cherry blossom season and it was an amazing experience. I wasn't too keen on sushi, however. I definitely want to go back at some point, it sounds like you had a great time as well. I enjoyed reading your piece.

I am an authority on Japanese Science Fiction and have a fantasy to see a Godzilla movie in an actual Japanese theater. One movie (The Legend of Dinosaurs and Monster Birds) features a dragon festival at a lake by Mount Fuji. I would love to visit that and shop at the local stores and enjoy the wonderful food at an actual Japanese restaurant. Thank you for allowing me to accompany you on this visit!

I think I need to stay in the U.S. I have enjoyed going through photo albums and diaries that I kept when we were traveling. Thanks for letting me share my memories and thank you for the six stars.
