Great work! I love the "e" beginnings of most of your words. Your verbs show strong action, in keeping with the active volcano. They convey anger on the part of the volcano. Excellent artwork choice, too. I saw you placed third in the contest. Congratulations. This is a striking presentation. judi

Thank you Judi for the enthusiastic review.

Glad you noticed all the E s... the picture was taken 3 months ago.. not sure I would be able to live so close to Etna... Her disruptive antics are mesmerising to watch.

Nice job in the prompt. What a fantastic graphic, that alone deserves the 6 stars. Everything else that went with it was spot on. You have been doing quite well on your posts this past month or two.

The pic was taken three months ago when Etna erupted yet again.

    She is beautiful, mesmerising but
I couldn?t live so close to Her.

I can narrow it down , since you gave me the $55.00 gift I have been winning regularly a place on the podium. Last week I had nearly doubled the sum reaching $ 104.00 dollars. 😝

Off late vulcanologists are seriously worried about the Campi Flegrei .

It?s near the Vesuvio ,near Napoli.

It?s fuming from underground and they are scared that it will explode .. the last time was in 1538..

since 1950 earthquakes have been registrate in the area. . They say the pressure is building ..

there are two plaques that are rubbing against each other that?s why there are so many devastating earthquakes long Turkey, Afghanistan also .

If it does explode it could destroy one of the most beautiful areas in Italy ..there are some 500,000 people in danger.

I?ll send you a link to open on the Campi Flegrei

Thanks for the extra Stella !

As I live on a volcanic island then this post appealed to me, love the alliteration and you win my vote here, a magical post about volcanos erupting without warning, much enjoyed, love Dolly x

Oh my! Is Etna active? Photo is brilliant by the way. Volcanoes are the purest form of destructive beauty.

I suppose a visit would interest me but I could not live under one.

Nice alliteration. D

Etna had been active in the last few years .. two months ago she exploded in all her destructive beauty.

I find her outbursts mesmerising too but in all honesty, I would not feel safe living in proximity.

This is well-done for a 5-7-5 with an emphasis on 'e' verbs/words. This is a good choice to treat volcanic fire/eruption. I counted all the syllables, and you are right on the mark. Nice post.

I was hoping to insert in the middle line the name Etna instead of "she" but then I would have had one syllable too much.... damn it.

Thank you for leaving a comment.. I hope you enjoyed the video below .
