Cute poem. Nice rhyme. Small matter: "was" needs to be separated from "a". Glad i reds this. You've encouraged me to enter the contest myself! Since you led the way, I hope you win!

See, that's what cats get for sprawling out on the floor right where we need to walk! Tails are bound to get stepped on. But if you're going to be a doormat, might as well do it with a small rodent friend.
