What a lovely presentation, and it's so easy to picture the scenes you describe too -- nicely done. I am a little too mobility-challenged to do any running anymore, but yes, I wouldn't be doing it in winter. :) Good luck in the contest.

This poem has the required end rhymes and the correct number of lines. However the poem's rhythm is a little erratic varying from five to nine beats per line. I would have tried to make that a bit more consistent.
