Oh dear Cody's in trouble! Can you murder robots when that aren't even humans? I found your story interesting especially the dialogue with Cody. I look for ward to reading more.

Now, I must admit I'm on Cody's side. I don't care for this AI business. I see them as a threat. Call me old fashioned, but if so, then I like to be old-fashioned. A great chapter. Ulla:)))

I do not like AI at all! Not one bit. Believe the human species is messing about with something it could well regret. Perhaps my opinion came forth in this posting? Appreciate your comments and the review.

Your partiality for long complex words makes this a little trying to read. Cody seems irritable even before the mention of IA. Did the sheriff take him fishing to see if he would get the confession he did get about damaging the robot?

This was one time I was not sympathetic to Cody. Having said that, Cody has never really had a decent roll model. Now , he is about to learn a valuable lesson. I'm sure the sheriff is good at teaching. Gretchen

Hope all is well in your world. Saw your post on FB about the graft. Good news it was not anymore than that.

Yeah I managed a shower without wetting the big dressing. The bandage on the little graft removal site (near left ear) keeps coming adrift. Louise will repair it later this morning before we go visit her folks across town. Have not seen them in a while My father-in-law had a stroke and shingles and they both had COVID again.

Cody doesn't seem to be enjoying this fishing trip at all. He is also very aggitated over this talk about robots. I can't say that I blame him. I don't care of them either. I'm afraid of what might happen if the keep tetting smarter.

Perhaps my dislike of AI, and robotics, as well as their potential for what no good they could eventually do, inspired this chapter. Have to agree with Cody. Who needs AI or robots?
