This is an act of bravery. Your poem is honest, naked, and raw in a way that I think few here would dare, and for that I salute you. Certainly your words echo some of my own travails. Sometimes, the most poetic way of expressing one's truth is to do it simply, and the let the power of emotion do the rest. I wish you luck in wrestling your own demons, and that you have the clarity and strength to be vulnerable and ask for help when it is needed.

You are not alone.

This is long, but a worthy read. The sexual parts were poignant and direct.

This in the beginning struck me:
Losing myself because I'm among a dying breed.

I think the dark background really complimented the mood of the piece.

Very good.

Wow that must have been hard write for you. It's toughest when we hold the mirror up upon ourselves and we don't like what we see, but anything worth having takes work they say. A very good story in a my make, one suggestion perhaps put a label on your poem that suggests sex having said that, it doesn't take away from the beauty or the deep feelings of your poem. I thank you for sharing this with us. Wish you best of luck.!

You have a very creative way of using words that allows the reader to visualize and understand exactly how you've seen yourself and how to wish to see yourself in the future. I pray that one day you look in the mirror and love who you see. Best wishes and success with your writing.

Wow you have certainly expressed your thoughts and feelings graphically in this well written powerful piece of poetry. Sounds like you've had a very tough life. I hope releasing your thoughts has been cathartic. Well done.

Excellent portrayal of a carousel, with a person riding the horse of sin and sorrow, who believes that there is no future, because everything paints them a loser.

This rider can become a winner, because they have nothing to lose.

Create your own new path by identifying as "somebody," and ride the horse of opportunity.

What can you lose; a box of self created negatives.

Say no to drugs, sex, and alcohol; they have not provided a springboard to any real level of comfort.

Self depreciation is not a positive step, it is one of the weakest attempts to fight back.

Become a new "somebody," and project the success that can be yours.

Death is not so definitive as to be portrayed as a better solution; what is death?

Start living off "the psycho-path," Nature provides sunshine. Take a walk.

Same stuff different day. The line about cum in you definitely deserves a warning label on the poem for those who don't want to read graphic sexual content. Other than that, this is just more of the same. Tiresome
Thank you God it's not me

So lost and so sad. Filled with a desire for redemption but overcome by the past and the accompanying demons of regret and addiction. I hope you can find the peace you seek, rather than remain in the state of being cut into a million pieces, broken and fragmented. Sending best wishes.

This is a confronting exploration of identity. I was a little unprepared for some of the language and experiences, which are presented graphically and in a raw state to emphasise the loss of self and the confusion of the narrator. Perhaps next time it might be a good idea to add a language warning for those readers who might not be ready for this gritty level of realism. I hope this narrator and anyoneelse experiencing these intense struggles in life are able to find peace.
