Ciao,

Yes that's sound advice. I used to plan but I'm done doing that, I live for the moment, I love to watch Mother Nature and her wonders.

The ebb and flow of the ocean is very soothing, idem sunsets.

Creative the closing line.. using the verb SPIN to refer to our planet that spins and Mother Earth that casts her spell.

PS. Did you take that lovely photo?

I like this 5-7-5 poem. Nice and short with a succinct message.
Enjoy the simple moments in life. Every day is a blessing. Amen to that.
I particularly enjoyed the last line - earth spins her magic. Very clever.

I like the evocative imagery here and the sense of connection between waves and shore. I can almost hear the breakers and the seagulls overhead as I read this. Thanks for the share.

This haiku, with its rich imagery and serene tone, beautifully captures a moment of natural harmony and wonder. The poem's three lines each contribute to creating a vivid and peaceful scene, showcasing the delicate interplay between nature's elements.

The opening line, "gentle breeze kisses," immediately sets a tranquil and tender mood. The personification of the breeze as something that can give kisses imbues the poem with a sense of intimacy and gentleness. This imagery creates a vivid sensation of being in a serene, natural setting where one can almost feel the soft touch of the wind.

The second line, "salt water taffy oceans," is particularly evocative. The comparison of the ocean to saltwater taffy not only brings a unique visual aspect but also adds a tactile and gustatory element to the imagery. It suggests a certain sweetness and softness in the ocean's movements, akin to the stretchy, pliable nature of taffy.

The final line, "earth spins her magic," brings the poem to a captivating close. The use of "spins her magic" personifies the earth, portraying it as an active, mystical force. This line encapsulates the awe and wonder inherent in natural phenomena, suggesting a world alive with enchantment and beauty.

Overall, this haiku is a delightful and thought-provoking piece that invites readers to pause and appreciate the simple, magical moments in nature. Its strength lies in its ability to convey a deep sense of peace and wonder through concise yet powerful imagery, making it a memorable and enchanting read.
