This is such a sad but beautiful, very well written piece of poetry for the Christmas poem contest. I can picture that very sad sight and it brought a tear to my eyes. Absolutely beautiful. Good luck.

Jesus is the light of the world. I know this is fiction, but I can't help but wonder how many children, in, not only the US, be across the world won't really have a Christmas. That makes me sad. I know the number is huge. Thank you for sharing this beautiful presentation with us.

What a powerful and poignant image. Many people don't have a Christmas tree of their own, or a fancy feast on the table, or any of the trimmings that most of us associate with the day, but that doesn't mean they don't have a pure and innocent heart and a loving God who doesn't care what else they don't possess. Thanks so much for shaing this.
