You must have a wellspring somewhere around your place full of thousands of beautiful words that you just pick from to create the magic that you do! Very talented writer indeed gorgeous picture as well I like that he's carrying suitcases. It's a great metaphor or symbol for what's going on in the world. I see no issues with grammar aesthetic subject matter or sentence structure. Great job I hope you had a wonderful Christmas that you haven't even better New year and that your evening is fabulous!

Very nice entry for the "Jesus Birth" event in "Finding Your Muse".
I used to sing a song in many of my concerts years ago. It's by Don Francisco... "Come and Follow", when Jesus called some of his disciples, the fishermen. Good song!
He calls some of us every day, but we don't listen. Those who do will find relief... peace and healing, love and comfort.
"Repent, (follow), and give Him praise
(Now) fast forward to (now)adays" ...( I'd suggest a couple of things, first (unlike "repent"), "follow" is accented on the first syllable. So it trips the flow. And in the second line, you use "now" twice....
Repent and follow. Give Him praise.
Fast forward now into the haze)
"About to take bottle of pills" ... ( I suggest,
About to overdose on pills)
Nicely penned!

I see what you are saying, Kimbob. Most of what you are saying is totally making sense to me and I love your suggestion on bottle of pills. My words stumbled every time I say it, yet people are loving this poem. So I will make some edits and appreciate you so very much, as usual. A few things I need to keep because they were where my prayers led me and I don?t argue with God. LOL.. but then God wasn?t as worried about meter as I was. Thanks again and happy new year to you and yours!!
Ok, I made the edits that were similar to your suggestions. The first one, I liked my nowadays but you were right about using the word now twice, so I just changed the first word to then instead of now.
I loved your suggestion of overdose and used that and the one about repent follow, etc. I changed it, but I never use periods in my poetry so it works well with a semicolon too. So pretty much used all of your suggestions, and I thank you very much, my awesome friend.

I have read many wonderful and beautiful poems of faith, but I have to say this is the most creative, brilliant, warm and heartfelt writing on faith. I keep my faith very personal avoiding discussions, however I would like to share it with my cousin, a Protestant minister. He is one I have always avoid faith discussion because we were both raised as Catholic..

A well versed commentary on the discipleship costs of following. To follow does not mean just to imitate the trail but it means to give devotion in all aspects of the divine life of becoming like the one to whom you are following. The great image of Christ has become flesh therefore we have the example with the Holy Spirit we have the heart here the life becomes one with the follower and the leader. Well done !

The picture chosen speaks volumes in itself, but your faith presented with gentleness speaks encouragement and truth. A truly beautiful poem.
