Two things going on here: animation and alliteration: "Midnight chimed as I wobbled my way" This was a funny ending. But then the reader wonders if the teasing one is alive or not. Good work.

LOL That's hysterical! For one second, I thought the girls were the ghosts. This is an excellent story for the challenge and the accompanying image matches perfectly. My siblings and mom would do things like this too me constantly, while I was growing up. I was youngest so it came with the territory. Excellent work, Mario!
