I really liked the "edge of silence" because it hints that it is almost perceptible even if not heard directly. I guess "he" did some soul searching in nature and encountered Truth. Best wishes in the contest!

One of the things I like about this 20 Syllable contest entry is that it gives a glimpse into what can deeply motivate the heart of someone. I feel a sincere connection to the message because of those time when I was walking through a thick and natural woods. The general silence there allows the sporadic animal twitterings, snortings, and buzzings to be intensified, noticed and appreciated. This is a lovely posting.

As you know, the short ones can be a real challenge, but with this one, I wrote it and then it sprang in my mind to count syllables ~ I realized it could be entered in the 20 syllable contest ~ yahoo... an easy ... this time.
