As we age, we all, and so many friends as well, are going through things we can't prepare for emotionally. The loss of independence and the increase in surgeries etc are a kind of grief with a very real sense of loss. The best we can do is pray for each other and offer our love and support as you have done and encourage us all to do. It does make a difference. Thanks or sharing.

Again, or still, Covid lingers, a few in my workplace also have contracted it, lucky I have been away, "Vittles" I like that word, and must admit I was grateful and mostly enjoyed mine, just found the menu wanning, an excellent read, very well written****kahpot PS. clung to every prayer from all known and unknown, I do pray for those in need

So thankful that you recovered for your surgery. Was it just last year or the year before? And I'm glad you weren't at work when your workmates got Covid. It's shocking how its many variants still attack us four years later! Thanks so much, Kahpot! Hugs!

These can be scary As far as diseases I'm okay I've said that I'm not I've never been sick so that's not it but I have experience with two people who have botched surgeries and died. I have no faith in surgeries so I hope I don't ever have to have one cuz I probably won't have it.

I remember that your partner had a botched surgery so I understand your suspicion of them. I've had to have cancer surgery without it, I wouldn't be here. Thanks for reviewing and stay well! Hugs!

May every expert do their part
To help the healing signs display
Restore their health in full we pray
(We all get mad at our doctors, but they carry a heavy load. For them, and their families who they spend many, many hours away from, I pray for them as well.)
