Great use of a repeated line in your free verse as it brings the whole poem together like a seam line. It's interesting that you write about how faith is rewarded in terms of clear and concrete evidence, not just what faith is.

This is an amazing tribute to faith that lies all around us if only we stop and see. Please check your last lines; worth dying for. This is how my faith is rewarded. You might want to take that repeated line out. What a wonderfully written poem. Good luck in the contest!

This is beautiful. I love the repetitive line.
If I could offer a suggestion:
Near death experience; survivors walk away unscathed. In the beginning there was sin. In the end, we were (are) redeemed.
I realize that regarding tense "were" fits, but I think "are" delivers your line better. Just my opinion, of course!!
No other SPAG critique to offer. Good luck in the contest!!

I do love that you gave such thought and consideration for what, why and how your faith is rewarded.
The use of refrain expanded the intention perfectly... well done!
A very strong contender in this contest methinks Tyler.
An interesting and authentic construction and composition... and it works to drive home the strength and beauty of your faith... yes, hope and possibility are our reward in the knowing and believing in the power that shows us the choice of perception.
