If I had not read your author notes I would have xpected this story was indeed coming to an end and believe you'll be relieved when it is. Ten down one to go since I read twelve already.

Thanks bunches, Tom. I still can hardly believe you've spend all this time reading all these old chapters. But I just hope it has at least entertained you a little bit, at least for a minute or two. I appreciate YOU!

I know, I know. I came late to the party. Your worldbuilding is the best - or maybe it's your slashy, bashy imagery. I would be at the theater to see this in a heartbeat, popcorn prices and all.

Thank you so much, Nicki, for your extra special six-star review and kind words. I just finished replying to your review once, but for some reason it didn't register or you'll be getting my reply twice. I can't thank you enough for taking time out to read something I'm sure isn't on your preferred list. I hope it entertained you a little. :-) Much appreciated!

Congrats on all Time Best:) and I like your commando style chapter. Of course I like this part :""I should have lived at a beach resort and been a poolside, beach-bum philosopher. I could have used all the idiot drunk's tiki bar and tavern-tested analogies to take advantage of the few dumber than me . . . those like you, Daniel."" , it's funny and how do you say over the border, cheeky? Your "snipper" humor it's as per doctors order:)

Thank you so much, Iza, for your generous review and kind words. It's always special when someone takes time out to read when there is no longer any Fan dollars in the mix. I'm glad you liked my favorite line. Much appreciated!

I loved the way you described the action in this chapter. It felt like it was moving at the perfect pace. Everything flowed well and the dialogue felt natural. Good luck with ending the series! I know it's hard to figure out the place to end!

Thank you so much, Alex, for your generous review and kind words. I appreciate you taking time out of your busy day to read a little of my foolishness and offer such caring encouragement. Much appreciated!

Oh, Ric, just don't leave us hanging for so long!!! This was such an awful chapter, (in the nicest way) Poor Tammy, what slimeballs those men are!! Although, I'm sure Tammy isn't bothered so much about her nakedness at the moment, but more about the torture she is going through. I do hope Tucker can get the boss soon, and do some nice artwork on him in front of a camera! No torture spared!! Go for it! This was one hell of a chapter, my friend! I don't know about my spider, your bully-boys are a lot worse!! Great writing, my friend. Love and hugs, Sandra xxx

Thank you so much, Sandra, for hanging in there with my foolishness. For a story that started out as a overwritten, adjective laden, somewhat comedic, farcy, spoof, it has gradually spun into a rather crude and gruesome drama. Which was unintended. I've been trying to end it for months, but the characters just won't seem to let me. LOL. I can't thank you enough for your always kind, encouraging reviews, your extra stars, and most of all for being you. I appreciate YOU!

LOL, I was waiting for the author's notes, and how you explained this was not the end. Admitting you lied is a great way to do it.

Ric, as graphic and horrible as the scenes are, the story is still pretty fun. A weed-whacking machete (can you get a gas-powered version?).

I like how Tucker deduced the warehouse location. Well done, until the next time. Terry.

Thank you so much, Terry, for your generous review and kind words. I've been trying to end this for months, the character just won't seem to let me, but I really want to write something new. LOL. Much appreciated!

Good movement. Nice action with the promise of more.
clue to the criminals thoughts and intentions. - You need a possessive apostrophe here. (criminal's or criminals') I think either would work.
Daniel spit between his spaced front teeth - A lot of people have 'gapped' front teeth, But identifying someone as gap-tooth is offensive. You said it in a descriptive, but non-demeaning manner. Good on you.
the lazy sun crept up over the hillside. - It's OK in there, but you don't need 'up'.
Best wishes.

Thank you so much, Wayne, for your generous review, kind words, and suggestion that are always greatly appreciated. Most are just oversights from a lazy writer who writes fast and doesn't like to proof and edit. But I hope you've noticed I'm trying harder than I used to. LOL. Much appreciated!

I'm exactly the same. (My wife is a superb editor and actually enjoys it.)

"Tucker, go get poor Tammy right now! Bust down some doors, guns blazing, machete (and d...) swinging and kick some sicario butt. Let's hope she never finds out that you purposely left her at the monsters mercy, as Farnsworth pointed out."

Hi Ric...congrats on another action-packed, witty, crazed, especially "ick" filled chapter. If this was a movie, I'd be peeking through my fingers covering my eyes (loved "pensile", a new word).

Silliness aside, in my humble opinion, your judicious use of adverbs and adjectives, was spot-on.

Well done...congratulations.

Thank you so much, Linda, for your extra special six-star review and kind words. I'm never satisfied until I've read your thoughts and opinions; although, I'm sure you're the type to only offer encouragement, even if it's terrible. LOL. By most standards I use far too many adverbs and adjectives, but, so does J. K. Rowling according to reviews. I'm waiting for more of your stories. Your characters are relatable to me more than most anyone's. I appreciate YOU!

Hello Ric,
I'm behind on my reading I guess. I've got to get up to date on this. What I've read so far is right up my alley. I like a little revenge- or a lot. Sounds like these creeps need a little visit from the avenging angel. Great read Ric. I'm looking forward to the next chapter.
Have a blessed evening.
Tom

Thank you so much, Tom, for your extra special six-star review and kind words. I think you might have liked this series of chapters from the beginning. It started with a lot more humor and as more of a spoof. But as it's gone on it's become more action. I'm been trying to end it for months, the characters just won't let it end. LOL. Much appreciated!

No, you have to keep Tucker! And I'm glad he's still speaking to you after you ignored him for so long. Anyway, you might need a warning on this one, but I guess your fans already knew. I hope Tucker can outsmart these bad guys.
I liked your personification of "lazy sun" and the funny "hand tools to a pistol party."

Thank you so much, Helen, for hanging in there with me and Tucker. I'm still trying to end it so I can go on to something different. LOL. I always appreciate your encouragement and kind words. But all of all, I appreciate YOU!

No, don't end it. It can go on to another book. He is on his way to being a superhero - not like Marvel, more like Texas Ranger..
