Hi Treischel,
This is a well written witty story that tells both the human and fox side of the story. Tod was very bold. I am glad the family of foxes move on and now everything his back to normal for all. Everyone is a happy camper;
Keep writing and stay healthy
Congrats on placing second in the contest.
Enjoy the rest of your weekend.

Although, I'm not a golfer my husband is and I can see the problem. We have a few families of foxes in our neighborhood, and they are stinkers. I enjoyed reading this story in poetic form contest entry. The rhyming is very good as is the flow. Good luck with the contest.

I loved this poem!! What a clever story, Tom, young fox Tod was a cunning one. Lol. The fox must have cost the golfers a fortune in golf balls. What a fun poem, my friend. I'm sorry I haven't been around reviewing much, I'm having trouble with my breathing and sometimes I just can't sit for long at the laptop. I go to the hospital on the 16th for loads of tests. Hopefully I'll get some answers. Anyway, this was an epic poem and I'm so pleased you mentioned it. Well done! :))Sandra xxx
I'll catch up with the rest later. xxx

Thank you Sandra. I knew you could appreciate it. Not as clever as your fairy/witch story, but a fun write. I hope and pray that your health will be resolved soon.

nicely done poem about foxes. they are special creatures. I have seen wild foxes in various places including here in Korea. I once saw a wild fox run across the street from the State Department. THat was wild.

Excellent entry for the 'Share A Story In A Poem contest'.

Excellent poem that I can admire how well it sounds with the sestet scheme and perfect rhymes. I'm not an expert, I write free verse and Japanese poetry but from my humble opinion you did a wonderful job. Good luck!

Well done

This work has reached the exceptional level

So far I have read as far as "Angry foxes, much like the golfers" and I'm crackin' up. Please, don't you dare make this anything but a happy ending!!! What a delight!

I am roaring with laughter, reading this aloud. My unit's door is open. I think my neighbors think I'm nuts. Hahahahaha!

"..It did occur
to Tom, that exit was the best routine." HAHAHAHAHAHA!!!

Thank you for the awesome notes, too -- bookcase, so I have something to use for reference if I try one of these sometime... :))

This is a very well written story in a poem that you have presented us with, for the story and a poem contest I wish you the very best in the contest. I enjoyed very much listening to this, as it moved along well, when Retta allowed. May you have a wonderful day, and God bless.

The fox is a unique creature in the minds of men. Holding to a reputation of a cunningness to survive, but it is very small for a predator, and could torn apart by a single dog, although through man's cruel sport, not very sate, man is the worst predator, beautifully written and processed in a definite form, well done, blessings Roy

This was a great read!

I enjoyed that this was told from the animal's point of view and would make a good publication of a children's story.

Enjoyable! Best, JohnC

Thank you John. I'll keep that in mind. This is the third fox story I've written. I told the story of the foxes and the fisherman last week.
