This is a great article on this latest tool the moneygrubbers have employed to trick people into making bad decisions, which actual truth and clarity would prevent otherwise.

Hello Brett,
thanks for sharing this vital bit of information. I don't own a smart phone, and I seldom get calls on my flip phone, but it's good to be aware of what's going on in the world of technology. I appreciate you sharing this.
Have a blessed day.
Tom

I am with you 100 percent about such scams. Every time technology advances, there are those who twist the benefits for their own evil purposes. No wonder people are losing their trust in each other. Thank you for sharing your well-researched piece.

Sadly, most of our laws are designed for the thieves, and don't believe for one minute that our government is doing anything to stop scams for do anything to fight against it. After being scammed twice, and contacted everyone I could, or was told could help, I was told assured by the main offices in Washington D.C. that there was so much scamming going on that there was no way they could possibly even slow it down. Thanks for sharing.

Thank you Brad for sharing this well needed information about telephone robocalls and scamming.
It's a horrible world when people cannot go to work instead generate hundreds upon maybe thousands of begging pictures of human beings that are not actually.
I too have fallen for this trap and have paid the price.
Fact that somebody is mimicking President biden's voice is telling all the New Hampshire primary voters not to vote for a specific person is disgusting show of who and how horrible all of this world can be.
Thanks for sharing this and have a wonderful day.

Thanks for this great post. Poor old Biden is getting past it, isn't he? Memory lapses being part of it, now, too. Great picture. Look forward to more from you.

This is an excellent commentary. The people who work for these places need the jobs, but I can't help but think they could find something else. The problem of them replacing people with AI is scarier, because they can do much worse things because humans aren't involved to tattle on them. I wonder if they are using AI generated intelligence to shut down e.g. hospital computers like our local one that paid a huge ransom to get back into their computers.

Brett, this is excellent commentary. AI is scary. The government needs to step in and protect everyone against the evils that lurk behind this, e.g. robocalling and so much more. I don't know if this has anything to do with AI or if it's my imagination or what, but I'm finding that tv celebrities, who appear on talk shows, all seem to have the same or very similar voices? Like you, I also hate scams, and something needs to be done about this and fast. Well done, and most timely.

Do not trust anything about AI. Appreciate your comments and the review.

Brett, I will never trust AI. You have forewarned me, so I am fore-armed, if that's even possible when it comes to AI, but I will do whatever I can to reject it. Margaret

An EMP is going to take care of everything before long. That's why I like books. I am not a luddite, but we rely on electronics too much. Have a good week.
