I loved this! Lovely flow and profound words. It's true. Things are all rosy and easy before reality hits, but when love is true, it weathers it all and grows even stronger. This was a beautiful and realistic poem. I enjoyed this very much.

All you can do is try your best. My husband and I have never really raised our voices to each other. I don't know if it's cuz it's never happened or we just checked ourselves before it happened. Things happen and don't always go according to how you want to, but as long as love is there you can get through it.

Thank you so much for your review. I hope you and your husband continue being always thoughtful and kind to each other. My poem was true - Sometimes good intentions did fail, but we are blessed to be happily married still after 65 years with two children, four grandchildren, and 6 (almost 7) great grandchildren. God has blessed us greatly.

A beautiful and realistic poem for th e Valentine's Day contest. We start off with high ideals but we are human, and a perfect relationship is not attainable by many. Yet the love remains, and we learn to forgive, and express love in action. Best wishes for the contest.
