Ahhhh Coffee. Worthy subject. I liked your picture best...looks like my morning sitting outside, listening to birds and thinking.... Or in the winter laying in bed waiting for my hubby to bring it, creamer added. If the Daisy dog is laying on YOUR feet, the other one gets the coffee. The good life.

Oh, yum -- I agree with your wee poem -- coffee is not only delicious, it starts the day off in a way that makes us feel confident, in my opinion, and that IS soothing.

Noticed no nits in the 2-4-2 formatting required by the contest requirements' announcements.
Though no coffee drinker, never cared for the beverage.
Many people do proclaim whether it is Folgers "in your cup," Maxwell House's "good to the last drop," or whatever concoction they come up, and however they brew the drink, they can not even begin their morning in the proper manner without their java.
Perhaps it is the caffeine contained in the joe they are addicted to?

I don't drink coffee hardly ever. I never cared for the taste. I do like my Coca-Cola in the morning to wake me up. Of course, I switched to Coca-Cola Cherry Zero. It tastes better. We all need our jolt in the morning. Nice, tight, poem. Karen
