It's so beautifully written. It's light and full of internal rhyming that I really like. You have improved a greatly since 2017 but you showed promise in your very fifth poem. I didn't start writing poetry until July, 2020. Fanstory definitely has turned me into a poet.

I love this poem and the flow and rhyming are perfect! I read your notes below the poem and noticed that you found a part of yourself that you never knew existed. This is also me! I decided to find myself a hobby and have suddenly become obsessed with writing poetrty! My first poem took months to write and now I write several in a week.

I think the people that dress like this are odd, but only because I'm from a different generation that wore leather jackets and oil ducktails and pompadours, or Neru jackets and shaggy hair.

How fun! And I wonder if you created a new form as you wrote this "first" poem! I like how in the second and third stanzas, lines one and three have internal rhymes.
I had to smile at that picture because in my high school, the cheer leaders all had eye makeup like that!
